Life is more fun with friends.  While we love coming together as a church to worship on Sundays, we know that meeting with a small group of friends during the week is where your faith will truly come alive.  This is where you will make friends and build relationships that will last.  Our Connect Groups are all about RELATIONSHIPS. Hang out, have fun, and grow together!

connect  group Q & A

Where  do they  meet?

Connect Groups happen throughout the surrounding areas at places of comfort to the people.  Most groups meet at homes, some online...but others meet at coffee shops or anywhere that is comfortable for the members.  Whether it is at a home, restaurant, or out in nature it is a great time to connect and make friends!

How  often  do  they  meet?

Our Connect Groups meet for three semesters a year—winter/spring, summer and fall.  During the semester, groups meet once a week.  Connect Groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life, so even if you can’t attend every meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.

Is  child  care  provided?

We love kids!  Childcare varies from group to group.  When you search our  for a group, the group information will indicate if childcare is available.  If anyone needs additional assistance with childcare please contact our main office.  We do not want anyone to miss being able to join a group because of childcare issues.

What  do  Connect  Groups  do?

You’ve probably seen Connect Groups meeting and not even realized it.  A connect group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest.  At its core, a connect group is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with.  By participating in Connect Groups, you can expect to bond with others through a common activity, engage in life giving conversation and request prayer.

How long does a typical connect group stay together?

Most Connect Groups meet for a semester.  This way, new people can join groups easily and regularly.  Also, the semester format allows you to try multiple groups each year. As relationships form, some groups choose to stay together for consecutive semesters, but new members are always welcome.

What if I don’t like the first group I try?

The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. This is why we encourage you to select a group that interest you, contact the leaders and try it out. If it’s not a good fit for any reason feel free to give another group a try the next week. The simple strategy to finding success in Connect Groups is to not give up. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone – including you – and once you find that group you’ll love being there every time!
